Geneva Frances Ritter Burgener, 94, of Olney, died Sunday, April 25, 2010, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.  Graveside services at Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney with Pastor Tim Bursott officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery. 

Mrs. Burgener was born March 25, 1916, in Olney, the daughter of Edward S. and Sarah (Foerster) Totten. She married Martin Ritter on June 12, 1935. He preceded her in death on February 23, 1989. She married Keith Burgener. He preceded her in death.

She was a retired schoolteacher and member of Church of the Grand Prairie.

Mrs. Burgener is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Cleaver and her husband, Wendell, of Mobile, Ala.; daughter, Rowena Amerman, of Pell City, Ala.; son, Sonny Ritter and his wife, Linda, of Olney; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one stepgreat-grandchild; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward S. and Sarah Totten; husbands, Martin Ritter and Keith Burgener; daughter, Patricia; brother, William Totten; and sister, Leona Steury.
