OLNEY, Ill. - Glenn Edward Hasslinger, 81, died Wednesday October 18, 1995 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Ind.  Services at Zirkle Funeral Home in Olney with Dr. Bruce Owens officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Hasslinger was born February 19, 1914 in Olney, the son of Karl and Edith (Foster) Hasslingler. He .married Ferne E. Faris June 26, 1938 in Olney.

He retired from Prairie Farms, where he was a route driver. He also worked at Richland Memorial Hospital. He and his wife owned the F & G Drive Inn. He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years, the former Ferne E. Faris; a daughter, Sue Lynn Rohr of Olney; a sister, Elizabeth Bailey of Shelbyville; a brother, Wilbur Hasslinger of New Port Richey, Fla.; a grandson, John Arthur Rohr; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Janet Elaine and one infant brother.
