Louis George Landenberger - Class Of 1932

Louis George Landenberger, 62, 825 North Silver St., died late yesterday evening (November 1976) at Richland Memorial Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Richland County.  Services at the Zirkle Funeral Home with Pastor Frank Coons officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Landenberger was born September 1, 1914 to Roscoe and Cricket Jackson Landenberger. He was married April 26, 1936 to Gertrude Feutz. She is living.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Elks Club and served as an Olney City Commissioner for 12 years. Since 1938 he was an engineer with the Union Oil Company.

He is survived by his wife; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Anita Landenberger, Dallas, Texas; a brother, F.J. Landenberger, Braintree, Mass.; three grandchildren, Christina, Beth and Ellen, Dallas and a niece and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Jane Verrill, who died in 1968.
