Eldo Adams

Eldo W. Adams, 70, Rt. 4, Olney died Monday  March 28, 1983 in Richland Memorial Hospital.  Services in Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Medlin and Rev. Kenneth Bassey presiding. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Adams was born November 30, 1912 in Richland County, the son of John R. and Florence (Gray) Adams. He married Lela Storer November 26, 1939 and she survives.

He was a farmer and a member of the Parkersburg United Methodist Church where he was Sunday School Superintendent and taught Sunday School for many years. He was a 4-H leader for 25 years and Farm Bureau president and director for several years.

Other survivors include three sons; Herbert, Gibsonburg, Ohio; Roy, Bloomington, Ind., and  Don of Olney, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Norman (Flossie) Roney, Olney; Mrs. Earl (Edith) Wachtel, Olney; and two grandchildren, Jason and Laura Adams.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers, Myron Adams, Mrs. Mildred Groff, Elizabeth Myers, Orlando Adams and Eber Adams, and his parents.
