Robert H. Bohrer

Robert Henry Bohrer, 60, 1315 N. Walnut, Olney died Thursday Nov. 17, 1988 in his home.  Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Mr. Bohrer was born August 30, 1928 in Olney, the son of Louis Henry and Carrie (Utz) Bohrer. He married Peggy Whiteside June 25, 1949 in Olney and she survives.

He was a retired self-employed plumber and pipe-fitter. He was a 40-year member of Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local 157.

Surviving in addition to his wife, is a son, Robert Thomas Bohrer and his wife, Pam, Olney; two daughters, Mrs. Dale (Suzanne) Crum, Rockford and Mrs. Gratton (Sally) Toliver, Mt. Vernon; two sisters Imogene Jones, Farmington, Mo. and Anna Mae Roach, Lafayette, La.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a half-brother.

Tom Bohrer (1977)

What a great dad, he took me fishing, hunting and was always there to help me with whatever I needed. Dad passed before I found my career as a professional firefighter. I think he would have approved but would have been proud of whatever I ended up doing. I miss him a lot and will always be thinking of him.
