Peggy Whiteside (Bohrer)

Peggy Ann Whiteside Bohrer, 71, of Mt. Vernon, formerly of Olney died Saturday May 11, 2002 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.  Graveside services in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney with Reverend Everett Lemay officiating.

Mrs. Bohrer was born on February 23, 1931 in Richland County, the daughter of Merle Thomas and Freda (Wolfe) Whiteside. She married Robert Henry Bohrer on June 25, 1949. He preceded her in death on November 17, 1988.

She was a retired bookkeeper for a plumbing business.

Mrs. Bohrer is survived by a son, Robert Thomas Bohrer and his wife, Pam of Springfield; two daughters, Suzanne Crum and her husband, Dale of Rogers, Ark. and Sally Waters and her husband, Donald of Mt. Vernon; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Tom Bohrer (1977)

I only had one mother but I cannot imagine that she wasn't the best mother a person could have. She has been gone a long time now and not a day goes by I don't think of her and how much I just miss talking to her. Still and will forever thinking of you Mom, you not so wonderful at times son.
