Jimmy "Pete" Reynolds, 81, of Calhoun and  formerly of Bettendorf, Iowa passed away at 3:33 PM on January 25, 2013 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.  Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with nephew, Tim Dunahee officiating.  Burial in Richland Cemetery in Calhoun with full military rites.

Jimmy was born March 8, 1931 in Dewitt, IL to Charles Leo and Edith (Welch) Reynolds. He married Muriel Martindale on March 23, 1967 in Rock Island, Illinois and she survives.

Jimmy had a houseboat and enjoyed fishing on the Mississippi River. He loved bowling with his friends and family. Jimmy was a member of the American Legion and the VFW.

He is survived by  his wife, Muriel (Martindale) Reynolds; daughter Lisa Reynolds and boyfriend, Brad Recher of Sumner; son, Rick Reynolds and wife, Carol of Akron, OH; Step-son, Steve E.Smith of Lasalle, UT; sister, Bonnie Bricker and husband, Al of Olney and sister, JoAnn Dunahee of Salem, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters.
