Quincy Nettleton

Quincy A. Nettleton, age 82, of Edwardsville, Illinois died Friday, September 12, 2014, at Meridian Village Care Center in Glen Carbon.  A private family service held at Sunset Hill Cemetery Mausoleum with Rev. John Shank officiating. Interment at Sunset Hill Cemetery.

Quincy retired on March 31, 1996 as an auditor and accountant for McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis. He also owned Nettleton Tax and Accounting service in Edwardsville for 40 years.

He was born December 14, 1931, at Claremont, Illinois the son of the late Quincy A. Nettleton, Sr & Alta Dora (Meadows) Nettleton. He married Shirley A. Luzader on September 12, 1954, at Mt. Carmel, Illinois.

Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Debra A. Brenamen & husband Timothy A. of Monroe, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth E. Nettleton and a sister, Virginia Ochs.

Quincy was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Edwardsville. He was a veteran of U.S. Airforce during the Korean War. He was a member and Past Commander of American Legion Post 199 in Edwardsville. He also was a member of the National Association of Tax Practioneers for over 25 years holding various offices including President of the Illinois Chapter.
