James D. Edwards, 70, of Bowling Green died at 12:21 a.m. Jan. 2, 2003, at his home. Funeral at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home with burial in Bowling Green Gardens.

The Huntington, W.Va., native was a retired electrical engineer for France Co., a Korean War Air Force veteran, attended Hillvue Heights Church, and was a member of the Elks Club and Amateur Radio Club. He was a son of the late Homer Edwards and Mary Reece Miller.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Edwards; two daughters, Vicki Edwards of Baltimore and Lynne Hill of Bowling Green; a son, James R. Edwards of Kokomo, Ind.; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
