Mrs. Lora Grace Leaf, age 43, of 221 East Lafayette street, passed away late last evening (September 16, 1973) at the Richland Memorial Hospital.  Funeral services at Summers-Marshall Funeral Home with the Rev. Doyle Frazier officiating. Interment in the Crest Haven Memorial Park.

Mrs. Leaf was a native of DuPage County and was born the daughter of William Sloan and Lora Carter Sloan. She was married to John Leaf on December 22, 1948. Mrs. Leaf was an active member of the Olney Church of the Nazarene.

She leaves her husband, John and five sons, John C. Leaf of Olney, James W. Leaf, Jerald P. Leaf, David J. Leaf and Gary Jay Leaf, all at home. She also leaves her mother, Mrs. Lora Sloan of Auburndale, Fla. and the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Orpha Vail and William Sloan, both of Olney and Rex Sloan of Auburndale, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Sloan and a brother, Harry Sloan, who died in Military service in World War II.
