Malcolm John Pontius, age 66, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away May 25, 1996 in Mesa. He was born in Olney, Illinois a son of August J. and Ruth M. (Iaun) Pontius. He married Vonda Pinto and she survives.

Mr. Pontius was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving in Korea and Vietnam.                           

He is survived by a brother, William F. Pontius and sisters, Rose Salzer and Mary L. Baltzell.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Burial in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
