Donald Pennington

Donald Pennington, 41 of Greenville and formerly of Richland County, died early this morning June 3, 1972 at his home according to word received here.

Services at First United Methodist Church in Greenville with burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, there.

Mr. Pennington was a graduate of the University of Illinois and had taught English in the Greenville High School for a number of years. He had also served as a reporter on the old Olney Times and for other newspapers.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; a son, Jonathon and daughters, Emily Dianne and Susan Elaine all at home; two sisters, Mrs. Gale (Dorothy) Tuel of New York and Mrs. Robert (Virginia) Clough of Lombard and two brothers, Joseph H. of Mountain View, Calif. and John D. of Elgin.

He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.S. Pennington and spent his early life at Claremont. He was a graduate of the Olney Township High School.
