Dewane M. Lomas, 57, formerly of Olney, died July 24, 1987 in Greeley, Colorado.  Services at Macy Allnutt Funeral Home with the Rev. Alfred Slighter presiding. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Lomas was born on January 31, 1930 in Olney, the son of Cyril and Anna (Williams) Lomas. He married Maxine B. Creed on March 2, 1951 in Olney.

He owned Lomas Insurance Agency. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Olney.

Survivors include his wife, Maxine; a daughter, Joan Lomas of Greeley; a brother, Bernard Lomas of St. Anne, Mo. and his mother, Mrs. Anna Lomas of Osage, Mo.
