Marian C. Hunt, 78, of Florissant, Mo., and formerly of Olney, died Friday, November 14, 2008, at Delmar Gardens North in Florissant, Mo.

Mrs. Hunt was born on October 8, 1930, in Olney, the daughter of Herman and Julia (Ritz) Hahn. She married James William Hunt on April 10, 1953. He survives.

She and her husband, Bill, lived most of their married lives in Hot Springs, Ark., and Florissant, Mo. She also worked for several years at McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis. She was a member of St. Ferdinand's parish in Florissant. Marian graduated from Olney Township High School in 1948 and thereafter she worked at Pure Oil Company in Olney.

Mrs. Hunt is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bill Hunt, of Florissant, Mo.; five nephews and one niece, Kevin Teeven, of Peoria, Karen Iny, of Riverside, Dan Teeven, of Houston, Texas, John Teeven, of The Bend, David Teeven, of West Salem, and Jeff Teeven, of O'Fallon, Mo.; two grand-nephews, Aaron Iny, of Jerusalem, Israel, and Anthony Teeven, of Olney.
