Wilma J. (Gerber) Beck, 92, of Olney, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at her daughter's home. Wilma was born August 7, 1930 in Richland County, Illinois, the daughter of Glen and Ida (Boatman) Gerber. She married Samuel Beck on November 22, 1951 in Olney, and he preceded her in death on February 17, 2017.

Wilma worked at GTE, Florsheim Shoes, Gaffner’s, and Charles Roberts Attorney. Wilma enjoyed her family, friends, and pets. Wilma was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Wilma is survived by her daughter, Connie (Beck) Doan and husband Lonnie, of Olney; Son-in-law, Allen Ederer; Grandson, Brian Ederer and wife Shawna; Grandson, Brad Ederer and wife Becky; Grandson, Brandon Doan and Jayla Werner; Great Grandchildren, Tera Ederer and Alex Ederer, and Step Great Grandson, Kyle Schultz and Great-Great Granddaughter, Ashlynn Ederer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Samuel F. Beck, and her daughter, Carol Sue (Beck) Ederer.

A funeral service for Wilma will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Olney with a visitation beginning one-hour prior. Interment will follow the service at Goss Cemetery in Richland County.
