Joan Satterthwaite, 75, Bridgeport, died Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at Lawrence Community Health Care in Bridgeport.

She was a homemaker.

Her husband, Benjamin Satterthwaite, is deceased.

Survivors include one daughter, Marsha "Shelley" Lindley of Tupalo, Miss.; one son, Todd Satterthwaite of Lawrenceville; five sisters, Eleanor Hoff of Olney, Betty Rosafort of Shamrock, N.Y., Lora Dowty of Claremont, Ruth Lyke of Sarasota, Fla., and Katheryn Oney of St. Louis, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service conducted in Chauncey Cemetery, south of Chauncey.
