Dorothy Irene Brinkley, 75, of Olney died Thursday January 12, 2006 at her residence in Olney.  Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Wingert officiating with burial in Crest Haven Cemetery in rural Claremont.

Mrs. Brinkley was born on October 19, 1930 in Richland County, the daughter of Arlie and Jessie (Klingler) Brashear. She married James H. "Butch" Brinkley on November 25, 1953. He preceded her in death on August 7, 2005.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Brinkley is survived by son, Jim Brinkley and his wife, Pam of Olney; daughter, Janet Mason and her husband, Monty of Elburn; sister, Alberta Cummins of Olney; brothers, Fred Brashear and his wife, Sheila of Osteen, Fla. and Dan Brashear and his wife, Sherry of Olney; sisters, Carol Purdue and her husband, Jim of St. Augustine, Fla. and Mary Lynn Brashear of Olney; brother, Sam Brashear of Olney; sister, Jane Keller of Sullivan, Ind.; brother Don Brashear and his wife, Debra of Orcas Island, Wash.; grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters, Dora Fleming and Judy Brashear and stepmother, Elsie Brashear.
