Maxine  (Warren) Keen, 92, of Olney, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022 at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital. She was born November 29, 1929 in Alma, IL to Theodore "Ted" Warren and Mildred Raley. She married Sterl Wayne Keen on August 29, 1947 in Olney. He preceded her in death on April 2, 2019.

Maxine was known as a fine cook and a housekeeper who loved board games of all kinds and someone who kept sugary treats all the time. She also loved watching the hummingbirds. She was a member of Mt. Gilead Church.

Maxine is survived by her son, Steve Keen and wife, Shirley of Olney; daughter, Mitzi Pitts of Olney; grandchildren, Carrie Bielecki and Eric; Timothy Leaf and Michelle; Cody Keen and Megan; Stacey Myers and Bill; eight great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Barbara "Kay" Totten, brother, Russell Warren, and one grandson, Steven Wayne Keen Jr.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Star of Hope Chapel, Crest Haven Memorial Park, Claremont, IL. Visitation will be one hour before services.
