Anna May Bailey,  83, of Clearwater, Fla., and formerly of Olney, died  Monday, January 14, 2013, in Clearwater, Fla. There will be no visitation. Graveside services  at Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Mrs. Bailey was born August 25, 1929, in Olney, the daughter of Henry Spangler and Esta (Stoltz) Spangler, longtime residents of Olney at 127 East Laurel Street.

She graduated with the Class of 1947 from Olney Township High School and married George L. Bailey in 1948. The couple lived for many years in Virginia Beach, Va., before moving to the Clearwater, Fla., area in 1965, where she has lived ever since. For many years, she was known to all as Anna Mae (preferring that spelling of her middle name). Later in life, she was simply Ann.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband. She is survived by her cousins, including Albert C. Schneider, of La Cañada Flintridge, California.
