FORMER OLNEY GIRL AND FAMILY KILLED IN ACCIDENT ~ Mrs. Larry B. Morrison, 22, the former Miss Katherine Sue Mullinax of Olney, her husband and their seven-week-old son were fatally injured Saturday, January 26, 1952, when the car in which they were riding was involved in a traffic accident near Danville, Ind.

Mrs. Morrison, the daughter of Mrs. Helen Mullinax of Olney, passed away Saturday night about 9 o'clock in the Robert Long Hospital in Indianapolis. Her husband and baby were instantly killed in the crash. Mrs. Morrison was rushed to the Indianapolis hospital where her injuries proved fatal that evening. The husband and father, Larry B. Morrison, 24, and the child, James died instantly.

The crash occurred as the Morrisons were enroute from Dayton, Ohio to Decatur, where Mr. Morrison's parents reside. Indiana State Police reported that the Morrison car, another car and a truck collided in a dense fog.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Morrison graduated last June from James Millikin University at Decatur. They had been residing at Dayton, Ohio where Mr. Morrison was attending Bonebrake Theological Seminary in preparation for the ministry.

Mrs. Morrison was born July 19, 1929. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Helen Mullinax, two sisters, Helen and Mrs. Marjorie Hanes, all of Olney, and a brother, Dale of Bloomington.

Mr. Morrison is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Morrison of Decatur and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Everett C. Morrison, Webster Groves, Mo.

Funeral services at First Evangelical United Brethren Church in Decatur with burial there in Graceland Cemetery.
