Donald R. Stewart

DONALD R. STEWART, 76, formerly of Magnolia, TX, passed to our Lord on May 6, 2003, in College Station. He was born December 20, 1926, in Sparks, OK.  A memorial service held at the First Presbyterian Church of Tomball, TX.

During WW II, Don served in the Merchant Marines. He later traveled the world with his family in his work for Reading and Bates Drilling Company, retiring in 1986 as Vice President of Operations and Director of Safety.

Don was deeply committed to his position as an Elder at the First Presbyterian Church of Tomball. He was a member of the Lions Club in both Magnolia and College Station as well as a member of the Tejas Retriever Club in Houston.

Don is survived by his wife, Jean Stewart; daughter and son-in-law, Donna Jean and Dr. Joseph Morgan; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Becky Stewart; sister, Letha McMurtry; grandchildren, Alan Morgan, Dr. Kathi Morgan and Audra Stewart; and great-grandchildren, Mollie and Allie Morgan and Morgan Yaap.
