Dorothy Meek (Harmon)

Dorothy Jean Harmon, 79, of Olney, died February 5, 2006, at Richland Memorial Hospital.  Burial in Maple Dale Cemetery in Olney.

Mrs. Harmon was born on May 16, 1926, in West Liberty, the daughter of Mark Ray and Cora Ann (Sprague) Meek. She married James Ray Harmon on March 20, 1949. He preceded her in death on June 16, 1990.

She retired from International Shoe Factory. She was a member of Olney Free Methodist Church.

Mrs. Harmon is survived by her son, James Dennis Harmon and his wife, Laurie, of Cleveland, Tenn.; two daughters, Linda J. Michels and her husband, Dennis, of Olney, and Kimberly R. Kocher and her husband, Chester, of Olney; grandchildren, James Patrick Harmon, of Champaign, Victoria Banks and her husband, David, of Marshall, Travis Michels and his wife, Erin, of Whiteland, Ind., Tucker Michels, of Olney, Caitlin Kocher, of Olney, and Cally Kocher, of Olney; two step-grandchildren, Amy Terry of Winter Haven, Fla., and Ryan Terry, of Cleveland, Tenn.; three great-grandchildren, Rolande, Stephen and Perrin Banks; and four step-great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Brendan, Ethan and Paige Renfrow.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sisters, Hazel Hilderbrand, Delores Franklin and Edith Kermicle; and one brothers, Mark Ray Meek.
