Marcella C. Shidler, 71, of Crystal River, died Tuesday, April 23, 1996 at Cypress Cove Care Center.

Marcella was born in Olney June 23, 1924, the daughter of Harry Clay and Anna Blanche Wood Robbins.

Marcella came to Crystal River  five years ago from Kissimmee. She was a retired cashier for Big Lots and a member of New Life Family Church of Crystal River. She was a member and past president of the International Toastmistress.

Survivors include a son, Rodney Clay Shidler, Crystal River, a brother, Russell Eugene Robbins, Pensacola; and two step sisters, Lelah Luthe, Parkersburg, Il., and Ethel Luthe of West Salem, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mildred Robbins Huchel.
