Earnest Gene Rawlings, 89, The Villages, Florida, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2015. He was born November 15, 1925 in Parkersburg, IL and moved to The Villages in 1985 from Rockford, IL.

Mr. Rawlings was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Belleview. He was a Mason and was awarded the Nazarene International Distinguished Service Award in 2011. He was president of The Villages Travel Club and also escorted many of the trips, played softball, tennis and was a co-walker for The Villages.

Mr. Rawlings was preceded in death by his first wife Clarabel Neoma Rawlings on May 7, 2007.

Survivors include his wife Gloria Lindauer Rawlings; son Roy E. Rawlings Sr. (Dawn), Tallahassee, FL; 2 daughters: Gloria G. Raymond (Geoffrey), Kansas City, MO and Priscilla M. Swinson (Mark), Arlington, VA; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
