Nova Ann Gher Susdorf, 71, of Palm Desert, Calif, died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 1996, at Eisenhower Memorial Hospital.  Services at Community Presbyterian Church, with Mike Landreth officiating. Burial in Palm Springs Mortuary.

Susdorf was born in 1925 in St. Francisville, the daughter of Anson J. and Juanita (Tucker) Gher. She married William Susdorf in 1951 in Olney.

She was a teacher for 30 years and a member of the Presbyterian Church. She was deaconess and a member of Women's Club in Palm Desert.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, William Susdorf and Philip Susdorf; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
