Stanley W. “Bill” Kincaid, 77 of Claremont, died  Saturday, June 16, 2001 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.  Services at Trinity Lutheran Church in Olney with Reverend Gary Ryden officiating.  Burial with full military rites in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery near Claremont.

Mr. Kincaid was born on April 6,1924 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of John and Elva Ruth (Wagner)Kincaid.  He married Lucille Gerber on October 14, 1947 at St. James Lutheran Church near Claremont.  She survives.

He was a retired farmer and former Secretary-Treasurer of German-Richland County Mutual Fire Insurance Co.  He was a member of American Legion Post #30 in Olney and Trinity Lutheran Church in Olney.  He was a military veteran who served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Mr. Kincaid is survived by his wife, Lucille Kincaid of Olney; his mother, Elva Ruth Kincaid of Olney; two daughters, Margaret Cartmill and her husband, Larry of Olney and Linda Neil and her husband, Jack of Belvidere; a brother, Donald Kincaid and his wife, Sarah of Sumner and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, John Kincaid, Jr.
