Marian Irene (Fleming) Miller, 97, of Olney, Illinois, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Lavender Ridge in Olney. Marian was born March 31, 1925 in Olney, the daughter of David Elmer and Elma (Kurtz) Fleming. She married Benny L. Miller, and he preceded her in death on February 23, 2001.

Marian was a mother to three children, a grandmother to 11, and a great grandmother to 41. She was devoted to her family and their activities, sporting or academic. Marian and her husband were instrumental in the establishment of the Good Samaritan of Olney. She enjoyed volunteering as a cook for the holiday outreach programs and worked as a Sunday School teacher for years.

She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church.

Marian is survived by her son, David (Patti) Miller of Spring, TX and his children, Cheryl (Andy ) Spafford, John (Quinlan) Miller, Kristen (Mickey) Hammel, Matt (Marissa) Miller, Pamela (Beau) Dollins, Mark (Jenny) Miller, and Luke Miller; Son, Larry (Cheryl) Miller of Olney and their children, Amanda (Darrell) Houchin and Chad (Jaclyn) Miller; son, Martin (Debra) Miller of The Montgomery, TX and their children, Erin (Chris) Adams and Adam Miller; sister, Dorothy Songer; sister-in-law, Nadine Baker; and 41 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Howard, Allen, and David Fleming; sister, Margaret Jones; and daughter-in-law, Betty Miller.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney at 11 AM. A Visitation will be held two hours prior to services at the funeral home. Burial at Ebenezer Cemetery will take place following the Funeral Service.
