Services Are Held Today For James D. Boone, In Wyanet

Funeral services will be held today at 1 p.m. for James D. Boone, 41, formerly of Olney, at the First Methodist Church in Wyanet, Illinois.

Boone was fatally injured in a traffic accident near Wyanet Friday afternoon, December 16, 1966.

He was a teacher and assistant basketball coach at Western Community High School in Buda, Illinois.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia; his father, Ruben Daniel Boone; and children, James T. with the U.S. Army, and John W., Susan, Sandra Ann, and Joseph D., all at home and one sister, Mrs. Jerry Scherer of Mundelin, Illinois. Mrs. Mayme Hall of Olney is his mother-in-law.
