Helen L. Wells, 79, of Redding, California died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005, at Northern California Rehabilitation Hospital in Redding.  Private services held.

Helen was born March 1, 1925, in Olney, Illinois, daughter of Elza J. and Dessa B. Wells Bolton.  She moved to Shasta County in 2001 from Sacramento.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include sons Larry of Victoria, British Columbia, Morris of Cupertino and Richard of Redding; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
