Joan L. "Jo" Corbin, 77, of Worland, Wyo., died Tuesday, April 1, 2003, at Washakie Medical Center in Worland.

Services at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Worland, Wyo. The Mass of Christian Burial with Reverend Sam Hayes officiating. Veil Mortuary, Inc. in Worland is in charge of arrangements.  Rite of Committal at Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Worland.

Mrs. Corbin was born on July 23, 1925, in Ste. Marie, the daughter of Irenacus Charles and Cecilia Rose (Bolander) Barthelme. She married Boyce F. "Bud" Corbin on February 14, 1947, in Olney. He preceded her in death on July 21, 1994.

She was raised in Olney and graduated from Olney High School. Following graduation, she went to work for Pure Oil Company. The couple made their home in Olney before moving to Thermopolis, Wyo. in 1947. They then lived in Worland briefly before returning to Olney. The family later moved to Casper, Wyo., and then to Worland in 1959. She then worked at Stockgrowers State Bank in Worland as secretary to the bank president. In 1964, the couple started Corbin Well Service and she was the office manager. In 1987, they sold the business and then traveled and golfed for the next seven years.

Her hobbies included golfing, playing cards and fishing. She was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She also was a member of the Worland Country Club, where she was active in the Hi-Noon Ladies Golf League and the 21 Card .
