Esther Elizabeth Resor, 83, of Olney, died Monday, March 4, 1996 at Burgin Manor Nursing Home in Olney.  Burial will be in Crest Haven Cemetery near Claremont.

Resor was born July 24, 1912, the daughter of Archie W. and Mary M. (Wisner) Wynn. She married Ray Orville Resor Nov. 11, 1938 in Olney. He preceded her in death Feb. 17, 1987.

She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Luthern Church. She was also a 4-H leader and a member of Home Extension.

She is survived by three sons, John Resor and his wife, Virginia of Olney, Samuel Resor and his wife, Kristine of Fairfield, and Richard Resor and his wife, Dianna of Champaign; a daughter, Mary Alice Hart and her husband, Horst, of Monroe, Wisc.; a brother, Cloyd Wynn of Parkersburg; three sisters, Inez Barnett of Albion, Leown Atkins of Claremont, and Mary Rundell of Evansville, Ind.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one sister, Fannie.
