Leah Ione Michael, 80, of Olney died Monday January 10, 1994 at home.  Funeral services in Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Rev. Joe Eggebrecht and Rev. Keith Krueger officiating. Burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Parkersburg.

Miss Michael was born in Richland County January 10, 1914, a daughter of Olin R. and Ruby (Richards) Michael. She worked for Famous-Barr in downtown St. Louis. As a child, she was a member of the Christian Church in Parkersburg and later a member of Elm Street Christian Church in Olney.

Surviving are brother, Harold Michael of Olney; sisters, Verlyn Higgins of Clinton, Gwen Kraushaar of Shawnee Mission, Kan. and Venus Weesner of Olney; and several nieces and nephews.

Miss Michael was preceded in death by her parents.
