Robert B. Snively, 92, of Olney died Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.  Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Mr. Snively was born on November 16, 1912 in Olney, the son of Edmund and Laura (Yelch) Snively

He was retired. He owned and operated Snively Brothers Grocery in Indianapolis, Ind. for more than 30 years with his brother, Wendell. He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Olney. He and Wendell were named WVLN Man of the Year in 1992.

Mr. Snively is survived by a son, Allen B. Snively and his wife, Judy of Louisville, Ky.; two grandsons, Allen B. Snively Jr. and his wife, Tanja of Bloomington, Ind. and Curtis L. Snively and his wife, Melissa of Louisville, Ky.; four great-grandchildren and two cousins, Johnsie Fiock Fildes and Mary Lou Pampe both of Olney.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Edmund and Wendell.
