Charles Fee

Charles S. Fee, 51, of East Lafayette Street, Olney died very unexpectedly Sunday afternoon March 1, 1964 in St. Luke's Hospital,  St. Louis, Missouri.  He was a partner with Lawrence Wagy in the Wagy and Fee Auto Repair business and was one of Olney's most highly respected gentlemen.  Funeral services held in the Chapel of  the Schaub Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl H. Bennett officiating. Intement in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Charles was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Olney. He was born in Olney on May 19, 1912, son of Carl and Myrtle Fee. He received his education in Olney schools and attended the University of Alabama. He was a member  of Olney Lodge No. 140 A.F. & A.M. and various other Masonic bodies.

He was very active in his church, being Chairman of the Board of Elders, at the time of his death. He had been employed by Pure Oil Company for over 20 years before going into the auto repair business here. While with Pure Oil Co. he lived at the Company's Clay City camp.

He is survived by his wife, Cathryn Fildes Fee, a son Charles Jeffery, a teacher at Murphysboro, and a daughter, Miss Carol Jane Fee, student at Indiana State, Terre Haute, two grandchildren and his mother, Mrs. Myrtle Fee of Olney.

A son, Carl Frederick was killed in an explosion June 10, 1953 and his father, Carl passed away March 15, 1956.
