Was so sad to read about the loss of Dave!!! I drove him on several bus trips years ago, and Dave was always friendly, with everyone. He was a great man, so nice to talk to and I am sure missed by several previous students.

One of my oldest, dearest friends. Dave joined me in 1980 on the Tiger football staff and loved the town so much he made it his permanent home. Dave and I played football in high school in Granite City. Dave was an outstanding defensive back in Highschool, and was also successful at Illinois State. All the players that Dave coached loved and respected him. Dave had a quiet humility that made his players want to give their best for him. Dave was always a loyal friend and coach and I miss him very much.
