Mildred Grace (Lingenfelter) Fee, 94, of  Lawrenceville died Thursday, August 10, 2000, at Friendship Village in St. Louis.

She was born September 9, 1905 in Wabash County, Illinois daughter of Joseph E. and Clara A. (Joachims) Lingenfelter. She married J. Harry Fee, he died in 1977.

She was a graduate of Lawrenceville High School and had a degree in mathematics from the University of Illinois. She had taught school in Grayville, Olney, Birds and Lawrenceville.

She was a member of Lawrenceville Presbyterian Church for more than 60 years and served on the Session.

Surviving are three sons, John Keith of Santa Barbara, Calif., Robert Gary of St. Louis and William Craig of Holiday Island, Ark.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ralph and Harold Lingenfelter and a sister, Lucille Gray.

Services at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home, with burial in Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
