Jason Lee Lathrop, 22, of rural Claremont, died Thursday, March 14, 1991 at his residence, the result of a gun accident.  Burial in Antioch Cemetery in rural Claremont.

Mr. Lathrop was born June 9, 1968 in Lawrence County, the son of Joe and Geraldine (Bennett) Lathrop.

Mr. Lathrop was the night manager of the Olney IGA. He was a member of Beulah United Methodist Church in Sumner. He was also active in sports and hunting.

Mr. Lathrop is survived by his father and mother of Claremont; two brothers, Jeff and Wes Lathrop both of Claremont; two sisters, Rhonda and Jennifer Lathrop both of Claremont; maternal grandparents, Woodrow and Marguerite Bennett of Sumner; and paternal grandmother, Katibel Lathrop of Claremont.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Arthur Lathrop.
