Mark Allen Cole, 39, of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, formerly of Olney, died at 4:15 p.m. Thursday, December 6, 2007, at his residence.

Cremation rites were accorded with a memorial service held at the Summers-Kistler funeral home, Rev. David A. McNabb officiating and full military rites performed by Olney veterans organizations.

Mr. Cole was born February 18, 1968, in Chicago, the son of Allen Norman and Laura (Hale) Cole.

He was an athletic trainer at University of Henderson in Arkadelphia, Ark. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving from 1986 to 1992.

Mr. Cole is survived by his parents, Allen and Laura Cole of Olney; daughter, Alexandria Deanna Cole of Sumnter, S.C.; son, Mark Allen Cole Jr. of Sumnter, S.C.; brothers, David Cole and his wife, Carla of Olney and Joe Cole of Olney; nephews, Jonathon and Cody Cole; niece, Kristian Cole; and step-nephews, Devon and Bradley Sager.
