Stephanie L. Slover, 55 of Mt. Erie, Illinois passed away December 17th, 2021 at Carle Foundation hospital in Champaign. Stephanie was born August 8,1966 to George Jackson “Jack” Slover and Patricia (Heath) “Patti” Slover.

Stephanie loved spending time with her family. She was an important caregiver in the life of her nephew Nicholas and loved all of her nieces and nephews unconditionally. Stephanie touched the lives of her co-workers and their families. Steph never met a stranger and she always made those around her feel like they were the only ones that mattered. Steph was an avid animal lover and loved her dogs Brandy, Sissy and Nippy immensely.

Stephanie is survived by her brothers Galen (Betty) Slover, Patrick (Brenda) Slover and Dustin (Misty) Slover of Olney; nieces and nephews Lindsey (Charlie) Kiefer of Bradenton, Florida. Bayle, Laine, Keilan, Maddie and Alannah Slover of Olney; Josh (Celina) Kocher of Athens, Ohio and Natalie (Craig) Huelsmann of Trenton, IL; one great nephew and three great nieces; aunts Barb (Butch) Schnell of Noble and Jane (Ray) VanMatre of Parkersburg; uncle Lavern Slover of Dryden, MI; several cousins, many wonderful friends and co-workers and her beloved dog, Nippy.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Patti Slover, one brother Tim Slover, and her oldest nephew Nicholas Slover.

Memorial service will be at 11:30 AM on Saturday, January 8th, 2022 in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Cremation rites will be accorded.
