Rusty Lane Long, 21, of Rt. 6, Olney died Wednesday June 18, 1986 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.  Services at Summers Funeral Home, burial in Westlawn Cemetery in Newton with the Rev. John P. Kaitschuk officiating.

He was born to Luther and Sandra (Kincade) Long on January 29, 1965 in Richland County.

He was a 1983 graduate of East Richland High School and also a 1985 graduate of Wabash Valley College in Mt. Carmel. He was attending Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. He was also a former member of the White Squirrel 4-H Club.

Long is survived by his parents, Luther and Sandra Long, Olney; one sister, Mrs. Angi Tomlin, Olney; paternal grandparents, George and Nellie Long, Champaign; maternal grandfather, Floyd Kincade, Olney; and close girlfriend, Cindy Yonaka, Parkersburg.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Rosalie Kincade.
