Gary Paul Kocher, 49, of Olney, died at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013, at his residence.

Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney with Reverend Father Jerry Wirth officiating.  Cremation rites accorded following services. Interment of ashes at a later date at St. Joseph Cemetery in Olney.

Mr. Kocher was born on April 21, 1964, in Olney, the son of Herman Joseph and Betty Jean (Davidson) Kocher. He had worked as an LPN and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a NASCAR fan and an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and St. Louis Cardinals. He was a very nice person who did a lot of kind deeds for people around Olney.

He is survived by his parents, Herman and Betty Kocher, of Olney; brother, Herman "Butch" Kocher, of Las Vegas, Nev.; brother, Steve Kocher and wife Linda, of Kingman, Ariz.; brother, Dr. Jeff Kocher, of Olney; brother, Ron Kocher and wife Sandy, of Olney; sister, Janet Kocher, of Olney; twin brother, David Kocher, of Olney; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
