Linda S. Tate, 39, of Dundas, died Wednesday, February 13, 2002 in rural Richland County.  Funeral services at Stasi-Grove Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Willis officiating. Burial in Dundas Cemetery.

Ms. Tate was born on December 27, 1962 in Chicago, the daughter of Louis and Alma (Faith) Tovo.

She was employed at Olney Care Center and was the current president of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary in Olney. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Newton.

Ms. Tate is survived by her mother, Alma Tovo of Dundas; a son, Donald Tate Jr. and a daughter, Jessica Tate both living at home; three brothers, Michael Tovo of Richland Hills, Texas, William Tovo of Dundas and Timothy Tovo of Nacogdoches, Texas; and three sisters, Helen Schwartz of Olney, Pat Dryden of Olney and Carol Page of Dundas.

She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Tovo, grandmother, Gladys Allen and Grandfather, William Allen.
