Shelly Carwile (Black)

Shelly M. (Carwile) Black 55, of Bedford, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at her home.  She was born on September 7, 1963 in Phoenix, AZ a daughter of the late William Thomas Carwile, and Joyce Carwile, who survives, of Evansville, IN. 

On Dec 18, 2010 in Alum Bank she married Roger Black who survives along with the following family: a daughter Talitha Foor and husband Jarred, of Manns Choice, a step-son Jeremy Black and wife Jen, of Everett; three grandchildren: Lukus, Austin, and Mavrick Foor; three step-grandchildren: Katlyn, Ashlyn, and Marlee Black; two brothers: Tony Sikes, of Evansville, IN, and Shane Brackett, of Lacrosse, WI; four sisters: Kelly Carwile, of Olney, IL, Susie Walker, of Evansville, IN, Robin Sikes, of Evansville, IN, and Billie Jo Wilson, and husband Scott, of Noble, IL; and many nieces and nephews and her pets Ben and Sage. 

She was preceded in death by a son, Trey Will.

Shelly was a United States Army Veteran, and retired as postmaster of the New Baltimore Post Office.  She was a member of the Bedford American Legion Post #113, and enjoyed riding motorcycle with her husband, and spending time with neighbors and her family.
