Julia Thomas, 53, of Olney passed away on May 26, 2016 at her residence.  Services at Beulah United Methodist Church, Sumner, Illinois.

Julia was born on July 11, 1962 in Olney, Illinois, daughter of Donald Dee and Marjorie (Mitchell) Steber. She married Randy Thomas on June 5, 1981 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney.

Julia was a loving wife and proud mother of her three children. She loved her grandchildren and the time she spent with them. Julia took pleasure in being outside. She was a member of Beulah United Methodist Church in Sumner, IL.

She is survived by her husband of almost 35 years, Randy Thomas of Olney; son, Dustin Thomas and wife Heather of Olney; daughter, Brandi Graves and husband Zach of Olney; daughter, Samantha Thomas of Olney; grandchildren, Mackenzi and Braxtin Thomas, and Mack, Tommy, and Kenny Graves; mother, Marjorie (Steber) Pool and husband Stan of Robinson, IL; four sisters and six brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.

Julia is preceded in death by her father, grandparents, and infant sister, Rebecca Ann Steber.

Memorials can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or American Cancer Society.
