Donald R. Taylor, 87, of Manteno, Illinois and formerly of Richton Park, passed away November 1, 2016, at Miller Rehabilitation Center.  Memorial service at Bourbonnais Church of Christ. Private burial in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Don was born June 11, 1929 and raised in Olney son of Earl C. and Lola B. (Payne) Taylor.  He retired from Olivieri Construction and was a former Superintendent for Pepper Construction Company, and Carpenter for Paschen Construction.

Mr. Taylor was the husband for 69 years of Lida K. nee Rodgers; father of Ronald (Christy) Taylor, Donna (Mark) Brown, Mary (Michael) Frazier and the late Randy Taylor; grandfather of Michelle Howell, Timothy Taylor, Matthew Brown, Kathleen Williams, Tonnia Taylor, Jason Taylor, Madeline Frazier and Megan Frazier; great-grandfather of Suzanne, Shannon, Emma, Grace, Meagan, Lexie and Zack; and brother of the late Rosemary Shaft, Jim, Wayne and Howard Taylor.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
