Troy Lane Ernest, 34, of Olney, died Sunday, May 10, 2009, at his residence. Burial in Moravian Cemetery in West Salem.

Mr. Ernest was born on July 30, 1974, in Olney, the son of Bruce and Sheila (Keller) Ernest.

He was affiliated with Elm Street Christian Church in Olney. He was a former youth pastor at Assembly of God Church in Olney. He loved following baseball and basketball with the Olney Tigers and Olney Blue Knights.

Mr. Ernest is survived by his parents, Bruce and Sheila Ernest, of Olney; daughter, Elle Grace Ernest, of Olney; former wife, Traci Ernest, of Olney; grandmother, Virginia Keller, of Olney; sister, Tracey Rodgers and her husband, Marc, and son, Ethan, of Olney; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ken Keller, and grandparents, Dwight and Bonnie Ernest.
