Robert "Bobby" Stevens, Jr., 38, of West Salem, died Friday, March 12, 2004 at his residence.  Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg.

Mr. Stevens was born on April 17, 1965, in Olney, the son of Robert Sr. and Judy (Auteberry) Stevens of Parkersburg. He married Sally Fuchs on January 26, 2002 at West Village Christian Church near Albion. She survives.

He was a laborer in the oil fields as a roughneck and was a member of First Christian Church in West Salem.

Mr. Stevens is survived by his father and stepmother, Robert and Lynn Stevens of Parkersburg; his wife, Sally Stevens of West Salem; six daughters, Ashley Fancher of West Salem, Courtney Stevens of Newton, Amanda Fancher of West Salem, Tiara Stevens of Newton, Amy Fancher of West Salem and Amber Stevens of West Salem; three sons Joshua Fancher of Evansville, Indiana and Derek Fancher and Garrett Stevens both of West Salem; a sister, Angie Scott and her husband Ryan of Flora; and a brother Alan Stevens of Olney.

He was preceded in death by his mother, one brother, Wesley, and one sister Karen.
