Kathy Lynn Schonert, 37, of Olney, died Sunday, March 2, 2003, at the home of her parents.  Burial in Crest Haven Memorial Park near Claremont.

Mrs. Schonert was born on April 5, 1965, in Olney, the daughter of Dick and Jolene (Sensney) Lathrop. She married Keith Schonert on July 25, 1987. He survives.

She was an art teacher for East Richland School District since 1987, working with elementary students. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Olney and Olney Arts Council.

Mrs Schonert is survived by her husband, Keith Schonert, of Olney, two sons, Mitchell and Connor Schonert, both at home, her parents, Dick and Jolene Lathrop, of Claremont, her grandmother, Rosa C. Lathrop, of Claremont, a sister, Kristi Urfer and her husband, Jerry, of Olney, a brother, Jack Lathrop, of Sumner and a niece Brook Urfer.
