John Russell Anderson, 39, of Olney died December 31, 2005, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.  Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg.

Mr. Anderson was born on January 29, 1966, in Olney, the son of John Aaron and Carol (Legan) Anderson. He married Diana Herrin on September 7, 1996.

He was an electrician at Jabat and was affiliated with the Marion Christian Church in rural West Salem.  His hobbies were playing pool, deer hunting, fishing and deer looking with his daughter Paige.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife Diana Anderson, of Olney, his mother, Carol Anderson, of Olney, his daughter, Paige at home; stepchildren, Jeremy and Ashley Taylor, of Olney, mother and father-in-law, Robert and Gaile Herrin, of Olney, his brother, Tim A. Anderson and his wife , Tina, of Olney, sister-in-law, Deborah Godrey and her husband, John, of Olney, brothers-in-law, David Herrin, of Olney and Danny Herrin and his wife, Sherry, of Olney , nieces and nephews, Shane Lents, Ashley, Katrina, Courtney Lents and Riley and Legan Anderson: his uncle, Bill Anderson and his wife, Barb, of Olney, aunts, Judy Williams and husband Bob of Dundas and Barbara Faggetti, of Olney.

Preceded in death by his father, John A. Anderson, and his sister Debra Anderson Lents Taylor; and his grandparents; Roscoe and Ermal Schrader Legan, Esther Myers Wilson Anderson, Russell Anderson and step-grandfather, Beauford Wilson and aunt Sharon Dean Baldwin.
