David S. Von Almen, 44, of Olney, died October 27, 2010, at his home. Burial in Haven Hill Memorial Gardens in Olney.

Mr. Von Almen was born January 14, 1966, in Olney, the son of Frank and Judy (Stanley) Von Almen. He married Susan Hamilton on July 29, 2001, in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. She survives.

He attended Church of the Nazarene in Olney. He owned his own trucking company, Harper Trucking, and was a truck driver by trade. He was a loving husband, son, father and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Von Almen is survived by his wife, Susan Von Almen, of Olney, father and mother, Frank and Judy Von Almen, of Olney; daughters, Ashley Grimes and her husband, Micah, of Olney, Trinity Straw and her husband, Lee, of Princeton, Ind., and Syaira Leaf, of Olney; stepson, Justin Ash; and grandchildren, Davian, Mason, Julissa, Joshua, Cailyn and Tristan.
